PULAINAIWORK / API

API integration for websites, ERP and business tools

API integration lets separate applications exchange defined information or trigger agreed actions. pulainaiwork scopes connections around the data source, destination and business rules so teams can reduce repeated manual transfer.

01

Define the data contract

List the fields to exchange, which system owns each record and when an update should occur. Clarify whether the connection is one-way or two-way and how conflicting changes should be handled.

02

Choose the connection method

Review the available API documentation, authentication, quotas and webhook support. The implementation depends on what each provider actually permits; an API cannot expose data or actions that the source system does not support.

03

Handle failures and operations

Agree how to log failures, retry safely, prevent duplicate processing and alert the responsible person. Test missing fields, expired authorization and unavailable services alongside the normal workflow.

Questions before you start

Can you connect a system that has no public API?

We first check supported alternatives, such as approved exports or vendor-provided connectors. Feasibility depends on the provider’s capabilities and permissions; a connection cannot be promised before that review.

What is the difference between a webhook and scheduled sync?

A webhook sends a notification when a supported event occurs. Scheduled synchronization checks for changes at intervals. The choice depends on provider support, timeliness and how missed or repeated events will be handled.

What information is needed for an integration estimate?

Provide the names of both systems, links to their API documentation, the records to exchange, expected update frequency and a description of exceptions. Keep secret credentials out of public enquiries.
